Music composer Wajid Ali of Sajid-Wajid duo passes away





Singer-composer Wajid Ali of music director duo Sajid-Wajid died on early Monday morning in Mumbai.

Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam confirmed the news saying, ‘My brother Wajid left us.’



Actress Priyanka Chopra tweeted her condolences saying, ‘Terrible news. The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh.’


Music composer Salim Merchant wrote, “Devastated with the news of the passing away of my brother Wajid of Sajid -Wajid fame. May Allah give strength to the family.’



Film journalist Faridoon Shahryar claimed the singer-composer died due to COVID-19.

Turkish drama  Dirilis Ertugrul  has not only been a hit in Pakistan, but the Urdu dubbed version has racked up record breaking views on YouTube. This news did not go unnoticed by the cast of the hit series which couldn't resist thanking their Pakistani audience and made sure to send lots of love their way!
